Terry G. Sorrells has thirty-six years experience in the funeral industry and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Alabama and Florida. He served as president of the Alabama Funeral Directors Association during the year 1993-1994. He is also a licensed insurance agent. In the various communities in which Terry has lived, he was a member of the Lions Club, Kiwanis Club, Civitan Club, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and has served on many other committees. He is both a Master Mason and Shriner. He and his wife, Terri Lynn, are members of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Enterprise where he serves as a deacon and she has served as a Sunday school teacher.

Terri Lynn Sorrells is a graduate of Troy University, Dothan with a degree in business administration. She joined the business with her husband when they acquired the former Patterson Funeral Home business in Enterprise in January 1999.

In the summer of 2008, they will be moving to a new and improved facility on the Boll Weevil Circle in Enterprise, Alabama.

After making their home in Enterprise, they began the process of fulfilling a longtime dream of building a funeral home in the eastern part of Geneva County in Slocomb, Alabama. In January 2000, that dream came true with the opening of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb, which adjoins the community of Hartford where Terry and Terri Lynn were raised and completed their high school education.  After much prayer and a number of discussions with community leaders and friends, Terry and his wife broke ground on yet another funeral home, this time on the west end of Geneva County in Geneva, Alabama.  Upon completion, Sorrells Funeral Home opened in Geneva in August 2002.
