She was married to her first husband, Steve Davis, for almost twenty-five years before they divorced. During that marriage she had two children whom she dearly loved, Randal Kevin Davis and Ashley Keith Davis. In 1997 she married the love of her life, Bobby Killingsworth, of Graceville, FL.
Martha loved her family with great warmth and compassion – never hesitant to sacrifice her own needs for those of her children, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. Though Martha never finished high school herself, her encouragement and dedication to her children produced two graduates of the University of Alabama – one with a degree in finance and one with a law degree.
In August of 2000, at the age of 47, Martha suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed and unable to walk. The last ten years of her life, Martha spent in a wheelchair – unable to care for herself. Through tremendous self-sacrifice and love – Bobby took care of Martha and stayed by her side for her last ten years. It was during this time period that Martha became a grandmother, blessed with four beautiful granddaughters whom she and Grandpa Bobby have attempted to spoil at every opportunity.
Though she suffered from debilitating back and leg pain associated with her stroke – Martha never questioned the reasons for her condition – always trusting in God’s will for her life. After being hospitalized twice within the last two months, Martha – exhausted and hurting – shared that she was ready to be with her Heavenly Father. He granted her prayer on March 21, 2010.

A devoted daughter, wife, mother, and sister – Martha will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
